The Training and Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of our programs and services through strategic training and comprehensive evaluation efforts. This role includes developing evaluation frameworks to measure program outcomes, analyzing data to assess impact, and providing actionable insights for continuous improvement. The coordinator collaborates closely with leadership and program teams to align training and evaluation efforts with organizational goals, ensuring services remain effective and responsive to community needs. Additionally, this position supports grant reporting and compliance by providing data-driven evidence of program performance and impact. This position reports to the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in education, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in training coordination, program evaluation, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or similar platforms).
- Experience in the nonprofit sector or working with underserved communities.
Responsibilities:
Training Coordination:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training calendar.
- Design/ enhance training materials, workshops, and resources aligned with current organizational curricula.
- Facilitate training sessions using diverse delivery methods (in-person, virtual, hybrid).
- Coordinate logistics for training events, including scheduling, communication, and materials preparation.
- Monitor and assess participant engagement and feedback to enhance training effectiveness.
Evaluation and Impact Assessment:
- Design and oversee program evaluation tools, including surveys, data in databases, and focus groups, to assess program outcomes.
- Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of training programs and organizational initiatives.
- Create detailed reports and presentations highlighting key findings and actionable insights.
- Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with program teams to align training and evaluation efforts with organizational priorities.
- Support grant reporting and compliance by providing data and outcomes related to training and program performance.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in training and evaluation within the nonprofit sector.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation background clearance.
