Enrollment Manager

Friends School is seeking a dynamic and personable Enrollment Manager to support prospective families through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment. This role is essential in ensuring families feel welcomed, informed, and supported as they explore our school community. The Enrollment Manager will collaborate closely with the Head of School, Lower School and Middle School Program Heads, and teachers to create a seamless and engaging admissions experience. The ideal candidate is eager to engage with families and the entire Friends School community.

Key Responsibilities

Prospective Family Engagement & Admissions Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families, guiding them through the admissions process with warmth, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, providing detailed information about the enrollment steps and guiding families to the right places/people to learn about the mission and programs.
  • Coordinate and manage application materials, ensuring all required documents are received and processed efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records in the admissions database, tracking prospective family interactions and application statuses.
  • Provide timely and accurate admissions reporting.
  • Communicate important admissions timelines, deadlines, and next steps to families in a clear and supportive manner.


Tours, Events & Outreach

  • Coordinate school tours, ensuring a smooth experience for families by working closely with program heads and teachers, who will serve as tour leaders. Provide tour backup when necessary.
  • Plan and execute admissions events, including “coffee tours,” parent information sessions, and new family welcome processes and events.
  • Serve as a warm and knowledgeable presence at admissions events, ensuring prospective families feel connected and valued.
  • Support community outreach efforts to increase awareness and engagement with Friends School.


Social Media & Marketing Support

  • Partner with the Director of Marketing and Communications to enhance Friends School’s presence on social media platforms.
  • Develop engaging content for websites, blogs and social media that showcases the school’s mission, programs, and community, including student stories, faculty highlights, and event recaps.
  • Monitor social media engagement and respond to inquiries from prospective families in a timely and welcoming manner.
  • Assist in crafting digital marketing/advertising strategies to support enrollment goals, including targeted campaigns and content scheduling.


Collaboration & Enrollment Support

  • Work in partnership with the Head of School and Director of Marketing and Communications to develop and refine enrollment strategies.
  • Assist in reviewing applications and coordinating student visits or assessments as needed.
  • Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and current families to build relationships that enhance prospective family experiences.
  • Support retention efforts by fostering a positive and welcoming environment for new and current families.


Qualifications & Attributes

  • A passion for Friends School’s mission and values and a commitment to progressive teaching and learning
  • Experience in admissions, enrollment, customer service, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and guide families through important decisions.
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing and digital engagement strategies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and leadership.
  • Proficiency with admissions databases, social media platforms, and other technology tools.

Compensation:

Salary range is $55,000 – $65,000 and pay is commensurate with experience, degree, and position. Friends School offers a competitive compensation package including medical, dental, life insurance benefits, 403b plan and generous paid leave.
