What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Cycle & Billing Audit Manager position at Friendship Community Care?
Location : Russellville, AR
Pay : TBD based on experience
Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management preferred; equivalent years of experience in a comparable role will be considered.
Credentials : Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred.
Experience : Minimum of seven years in the healthcare industry, including at least seven years in revenue cycle management with billing experience.
Position Summary : This role will oversee the full Revenue Cycle Management process across all FCC programs. Key responsibilities include :
- Managing insurance contracts, coding processes, and staff training.
- Collaborating with auditors to ensure compliance with financial and operational policies and procedures.
- Supporting revenue cycle staff, the billing department, and accounts receivable operations.
- Training staff on point-of-service procedures and optimizing workflow efficiency in revenue cycle management.
- Working with the CFO to prepare financial reports on revenue trends and payer performance, identifying potential obstacles.
- Assisting with EHR processes, credentialing, and cross-training as needed.
- This is a safety-sensitive position.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information received regarding Friendship Community Care, Inc. and the clients. Conditions of confidentiality shall be in compliance with Friendship Community Care Non-Disclosure Policy and HIPAA Policies.
- This employee will also perform other reasonable related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
