What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager position at Friendship Diversion Services?
Has caseload management responsibilities for defendants referred from the Courts or jail. Works with defendants, courts, probation, prosecutors, defense counsel, treatment providers, service agencies and other resources. Manages a caseload in adherence to the procedures established by Friendship Diversion Services,
- Conduct initial interview, including review of intake forms, explanation of program requirements and process, make assessment of client needs, establish fees, schedule, and enter data in both Database and Device Web Site.
- Enter all data in the database, including all follow-up appointments.
- Meet with defendants on a regular schedule for schedule review, payments, and any compliance issues.
- In the event of non-compliance, use established process to notify parties and follow protocol per violation.
- When the program is complete, notify parties of successful completion.
- Review non-compliant/unusual events with Branch Manager as needed.
Performs general office duties. Will also interact with representatives of monitoring equipment for problem resolution or acquiring information.
High School diploma or equivalent minimum, preference given to 2–4-year degree.
Must pass a criminal record check and have a valid Washington state driver’s license and insurance.
Experienced in the applications in the Windows operating system and general computer programs.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision and paid sick and vacation leave. Pay increase will occur when trainig is complete after 60 days.
