FVK is recruiting for an experienced Residency Counselor for our Marketing department. The Marketing and Sales Residency Counselor is responsible for sales and closing activity that meets or exceeds expectations. The Residency Counselor manages the sales process from inquiry to residency by effective representation, negotiation and promotion of the community to the individual consumer and influencers. This is a Full-Time opportunity, weekdays 8:30am-5:30pm and weekends by appointment, and salaried position. Base pay would be $52,000 or $55,000-105,000 annually with commission and bonuses.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Marketing Residency Counselor:
- Prepare necessary paperwork such as closing statements, deeds, contracts, purchase agreement
- Manages the sales process from initial inquiry to residency by effectively promoting the community to the prospect. Facilitates the process by understanding needs and independently making recommendations based on key information provided.
- Negotiates obstacles and issues by understanding client needs and collaborating with community management.
- Effectively responds to new inquiries in a timely manner. Following the LCS SalesFirst process.
- Independently manages prospect inquiries and ensures that timely follow through is maintained in accordance with designated time frames
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills to close sales
- Ability to multitask, manage time and prioritize activities
- Great organization skills to be able to create various scheduled, timelines and budgets
- Ability to work independently when making important decisions
- Impeccable honesty and integrity
- Outstanding computer skills for preparing presentations and drafting property sale documentations
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience in all Microsoft Office Applications
- A bachelor’s degree in either business administration, marketing, advertising sales or promotions.
- 2 years real estate experience in senior living or outside real estate market
