The Frisco RoughRiders are searching for strong performers to fulfill the part-time role of the Ted E. Bear Mascot Performer for the 2025 season. Various availability during the day, evening and weekend hours is necessary.
Position Overview:
RoughRiders mascot performers are a co-ed interactive group that represents the Frisco RoughRiders, Double-A Affiliate for the Texas Rangers, at all home games and events throughout the community including charity and promotional events.
Mascot Performer Information:
- Ted E. Bear is under 5'3" in height
- Ted E. Bear is the shy one of the group
- He is cute and cuddly, while carrying male mannerisms
Qualifications:
- General knowledge of RoughRiders Baseball.
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from Riders Field.
- Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for the RoughRiders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Needs a hands-on, positive energy, great sense of humor and outgoing attitude.
- Enjoys interaction with fans of all ages, must be at ease in front of a crowd.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to take direction well, follow instructions and make decisions on the spot.
- Must collaborate well in a team environment.
- Live entertainment background a plus (cheer, dance, theater, etc...)
