Job Details

  • The Echocardiographer is responsible for performing Transthoracic echocardiograms, setting up and assisting with Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and under the direction of a trained echocardiographer, setting up and performing exercise and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms to the standards set forth by the American Society of Echocardiography and Froedtert Hospital.
  • This individual demonstrates increasing competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. Other duties as assigned.

    • Job Requirements

  • RDCS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International or completion of RDCS / RCS requirements within 12 months of employment is required.
  • One to three years experience as a cardiac sonographer is required.

    • Additional Details

  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
