Job Description

Job Title : Interventional Tech

Job Specialty :

Interventional Radiology

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift :

Day - 4x10 - 8a - 6 : 30p

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours

Experience :

Progressive responsibility and experience in IR / NIR and / or Cath Lab
One year of experience in an IR or Cath Lab setting
In-depth knowledge of operation of interventional radiographic and related diagnostic and therapeutic equipment / supplies

License :

State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer

Certifications :

ARRT registered

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS)

Must-Have :

Experience in vascular IR, hybrid OR, Oncology, MSK, and Non-vascular intervention

Coding and billing knowledge in Interventional Radiology

Siemens and Philips imaging system experience

Siemens and GE US imaging system experience

EPIC / PACS experience

Job Description :

Assists physicians with performance of interventional radiographic and related procedures for diagnostic interpretation and / or therapeutic interventions.

Responsible for preparation, documentation of inventory of materials, supplies, and coding used for interventional radiology services.

Support for vascular IR, Neuro, and hybrid OR procedures.

Additional technical courses and experience required.

Post high school education along with completion of a 2-year Radiologic Technology program is mandatory.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a clinical setting.
