How You Can Help Us

Froio’s Lawn & Landscape is looking for an experienced Fertilizer Technician join our ever-growing team. The core focus of your job will be applying products at various sites to company standards, leading a crew, and interacting with customers.

What You’ll Do

• Accurately apply fertilizer and/or chemicals per company standards.
• Maintain and repair equipment according to maintenance schedule, policies and procedures.
• Communicate with managers and sales staff to ensure safe, accurate quality, efficient and timely application.
• Work in any area of operation or production as assigned.
• Supervises drivers in product transfer operations.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations and PPE requirements as outlined by law and by owners.
• Exhibits attitude and actions consistent with policies.
• Maintain a strong attention to detail and sense of ownership in his/her work and application equipment.
• Sales to new and existing customers
• Always maintain a positive attitude with customers, team members and supervisors and make positive contributions to the Froio’s culture.

What We Look for In a Candidate

• 2-3 years of lawn care experience, including fertilizing required
• Fertilizing Technician License required.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clear record.
• Ability to speak, read and write in both English and Spanish highly preferred.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned by employers.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
