Business Analyst - IT Applications & Systems
The NFL is looking for an end-to-end Business Analyst, comfortable taking control from project inception, through analysis & design, supporting Development, QA, UAT and post deployment activities. The business analysts should be comfortable working through ambiguity within a flexible development lifecycle.
The Business Analyst will document business requirements and business processes with additional focus on analyzing business and technical needs across multiple business teams within the organization. The chosen individual will have a proven ability to communicate technical and business requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The Business Analyst must be able to communicate to all levels in an organization, possess strong critical thinking skills, be adaptable, flexible, proactive, and willing to take ownership.
Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize requests by collaborating with business and technical teams, and senior level
stakeholders.
• Document current and future state business processes and technical workflows.
• Document business and technical needs.
• Operate across a variety of business functions.
• Manage workload across multiple concurrent projects / programs / products.
• Participate and lead RFP processes.
• Evaluate existing business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and supporting
the developing & implementing of solutions.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, user interviews and workshops to elicit end-user requirements.
• Document requirements through user stories, integration documentation, notification requirements, reporting
requirements and use cases.
• Verify complex requirements are well defined, executable, testable and complete.
• Participate and support the QA and UAT of solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and
optimized.
• Experience using standard BA tools & technologies including Microsoft Office, Visio and DevOps.
Required Skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
• Ability to self-manage workload (Across multiple concurrent projects).
• Ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
• Excellent people skills and a professional demeanor; ability to work effectively with all levels of internal and external
stakeholders including vendors.
Required Experience
• 3 years minimum business analysis experience in Technology (must)
• Prior experience within Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies.
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Business
Analysis, or equivalent work experience
