We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk who will assist in all activities in the accounts receivable function. Primary responsibilities include customer account reconciliation, cash application and general accounting projects. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail.

Processes customer payments via lockbox, credit card payments, and online portals.
Processes remote deposits and posts to customer accounts.
Processes direct orders between Fromm customers and vendors :

Utilizes billing templates to track orders accurately, enhancing cash flow.

Maintains current open order status with applicable purchase orders.

Communicates with internal staff to resolve issues preventing billing.

Updates billing processes to expedite the flow of bills.

Helps set up new credit accounts, monitors existing accounts, and makes adjustments as necessary.

Contributes to generating Accounts Receivable reports, including aging reports, and identifies critical issues.

Works with the sales department to review and set up new customer projects.

Aids in obtaining and analyzing documentation for customer setup in the system, ensuring proper authorization.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic electrical industry knowledge / experience.

Solid verbal communication skills and professional demeanor.

Basic math skills.

Problem-solving and reasoning skills to determine customers' needs and offer product solutions.

Knowledge of PC / MS Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook, and ability to learn company business system.

Ability to handle confidential information and financial transactions discreetly.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
