Maintenance Job Description
Located in southeast Colorado, Front Range Cattle Co. is a custom cattle feeding business with diverse feeding programs to provide clients with quality service.
This role consists of general maintenance and repair of equipment among other activities related to keeping the equipment, pens, roads, and buildings in good shape.
Activities and responsibilities
· Inspect and identify equipment or other machinery in need of repair
· Determine issues with equipment and make repairs as needed
· Carry out repairs that do not need specialized ability such as changing tires and common building repairs
· Carry out maintenance routines
· Clean and organize the repair shop
· Order materials and necessary supplies for common repairs and maintenance
· Keep documentation of any repairs and maintenance
· Repair fences
· Repair water leaks
· Pen grooming
· Bedding cattle
Requirements
· Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and job veterans
· Basic mechanic and construction knowledge
· Time management
· Communication skills
· Capable of climbing and bending
· Capable of lifting at least 50lbs
· Capable of walking and standing for prolonged periods
· Capable of standing through tough weather for prolonged periods
· Willingness to realize activities outside of direct responsibilities when needed
· Ability to drive
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60 per week
