What are the responsibilities and job description for the Correctional Facility Cook position at Front Range Staffing?
Front Range Staffing is seeking an Institutional Cook with 1 years’ experience.
Hours are 10 : 30am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. Pay starts at $18.13hr. An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience :
- 2 years cook experience, preferably in a correctional, school or institutional setting.
- Experience meal planning, inventory and ordering of food and cleaning supplies.
- Cleaning including, washing dishes, cleaning refrigerators, stove, bins, cupboards and other kitchen equipment and utensils; and sweeping and mopping kitchen floors.
- Supervise food line.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen area by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, equipment, and other surfaces.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness to ensure the safety of both staff and residents.
- Ability to work with the incarcerated population.
