Our core competencies include drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics/ pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), safety and toxicology, bioanalytical services, chemistry and manufacturing controls for drug development, and core laboratory services for clinical trials.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Senior Scientist to support client-driven projects using advanced molecular techniques, including PCR and next-generation sequencing (NGS). The successful candidate will manage diverse bioanalytical tasks, ensure project timelines are met, and effectively communicate with project managers, clients, and internal teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support client projects using molecular techniques such as qPCR, digital PCR, and NGS.
- Develop, prepare, and finalize bioanalytical plans, protocols, datasets, and reports.
- Conduct data analysis, troubleshoot experiments, and maintain meticulous documentation of sample tracking and data management.
- Participate in departmental and client meetings, providing presentations and updates.
- Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and internal teams.
- Stay organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Contribute to method development and implement new techniques.
- Ensure all experimental plans and results adhere to high-quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field (0 years of experience) or Master’s degree (with at least 2 years of relevant experience).
- Proficient with qPCR, digital PCR, Tapestation, Illumina sequencers, and other molecular biology instruments.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with NGS workflows and bioinformatics analysis is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a regulated environment or CRO is preferred.
- Positive, can-do attitude and ability to deliver on deadlines.
- Strong multitasking abilities and excellent documentation skills.
