Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare airway bills and ensure timely completion to meet airline and gateway cutoffs.
  • Handle priority shipments and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
  • Prepare all necessary export documents, including AES filings.
  • Coordinate with warehouses, gateways, and destination offices / agents to facilitate smooth shipment handling
  • Communicate with the customer service group to address discrepancies in freight documents or cargo receipts.
  • Provide timely updates to external customers regarding shipment status.
  • Ensure high-quality service to meet customer requirements and expectation.
  • Oversee daily operations of the export department, ensuring smooth workflows.
  • Manage RFQs and provide timely quotations to clients.
  • Ensure timely billing of files and reporting on key accounts activities.
  • Trace shipments through transit points and provide timely updates to customer service.
  • Support special projects and handle other duties as assigned by managemen.
  • Meet or exceed standards set by the Compass Quality Compliance team.
  • Ensure proper handling and processing to maintain operational excellence.

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of current experience in air export operations with a freight forwarder.
  • Prior experience with Cargowise ; certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of international shipping processes and regulations.
  • Related experience in air export and international logistics.
  • IATA Certification.
  • Hazmat Training.
  • Associate's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

    • Office Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM.
