What Will You Be Doing?

Oversees the resources, functions and operations of the Yield Management department.

Essential Functions

  • Oversees the development / refinement and training of Frontier’s Yield Management department
  • Responsible for revenue performance of Frontier’s route network
  • Manages the process of market strategies and tactics in revenue areas
  • Manages the production of various system performance reports
  • Assists in developing goals and determining areas that need focus
  • Oversees maximization of passenger revenues through proper demand forecasting and overbooking
  • Provides strategic direction / objectives to and coordinates efforts of analysts in the performance of assigned projects
  • Assists analysts in recommendations of scheduling / market action to influence demand
  • Develops senior management reports
  • Oversees Revenue Management system including technology, training of users, and adjustments to changing market conditions
  • Manages process of skills development of individual members of the department.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Revenue / Yield Management
  • Continued development / refinement of best practices and training of both 3-party and internal revenue management systems / solutions
  • Develop programs and strategies for revenue optimization
  • Other Functions

  • Assists in the teaching / training of analysts to maximize revenues through various tools
  • Process optimization – including determining needs, designing solutions, and implementation
  • Leadership and team building
  • Monitor and manage the revenue management system
  • Monitor and manage analysts as it relates to maximizing revenues
  • Strong collaborator within the department, other internal departments, and relevant 3 parties
  • Manage and develop direct reporting employees
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Aviation Management or related field; combination of relevant education and work experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 5 years of experience in pricing and revenue management preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with day to day usage of a revenue management system
  • MBA may be considered in lieu of experience
  • 3 years supervisory or experience in a leadership role preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent Excel, Access, and PowerPoint skills
  • Thorough understanding of the overall structure and operation of the revenue management department
  • Ability to produce high quality quantitative methods
  • Demonstrates consistent deductive skills; strong critical thinking skills
  • Eye for identifying need for process improvements and ability to translate into an action plan
  • Able to efficiently summarize variances
  • Highly motivated
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical, communications and interpersonal skills

    General Direction : The incumbent normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.

    Salary Range : 95,000 - $125,000

    Please note : this posting has a closing date of 2 / 14 / 2025, midnight MT.

    Signing Bonus : Full time new hires will be eligible for a signing bonus of $10,000 after (90) days of employment (minus applicable taxes and withholdings). You agree that if you voluntarily end your employment with Frontier Airlines, Inc. or are terminated for cause within twelve (12) months of your start date, you will repay a pro-rate share of the signing bonus for – 1 / 12 of the total bonus amount per month remaining in the term.

    Salary : $95,000 - $125,000
