As the Manager, Revenue Management, you will play a critical role in developing and executing pricing strategies for both new and existing customers. Collaborating closely with our data science team, you will leverage data analytics to inform decision-making and enhance our revenue optimization efforts. This position is designed for growth, with the potential to evolve into a leadership role as the team expands.
Principal Job Duties:
Pricing Strategy Development:

Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive pricing to develop effective pricing strategies that maximize revenue.

Develop and implement pricing strategies that emphasize the unique value propositions of our services, differentiating us from competitors.

Brainstorm creative promotional campaigns and discount structures that attract new customers while maintaining profitability.
Data Analysis & Insights:

Collaborate with the data science team to create and refine machine learning models that enhance pricing strategies and forecasting accuracy.

Utilize data analytics to monitor and report on pricing performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives and customer needs.

Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data-driven analysis.
Performance Monitoring:

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing and revenue management, reporting findings to stakeholders regularly.

Continuously evaluate and adjust strategies based on performance metrics and market conditions.
Future Leadership Development:

Participate in leadership training and development opportunities to prepare for future management roles as the team grows.

Mentor and guide junior staff
This role is a fully remote position. Qualifications
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

3-5 years of experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or data analysis, preferably within the real estate or self-storage industry.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, Python).

Experience working with machine learning models is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
