Program for Assertive Community Treatment Team (PACT) is an intensive, community-based multidisciplinary treatment team that provides person-centered care to a shared caseload of adults whose needs are not able to be met through traditional outpatient services. The team provides case management, individual and group therapy, initial and ongoing assessments; employment and housing assistance, family support and education, substance use services, and other services and support critical to an individual’s ability to live successfully in the community. The PACT Team participates in rotating weekend and holiday shifts to provide coverage for our clients during non-business days. If a weekend day or holiday shift is worked by a PACT employee, the PACT employee will be able to take a different day off that same week.
The Vocational Specialist provides education or employment support services based on the individual’s placement and support model of supported employment informed by age appropriateness and client needs. The Vocational Specialist shall provide rapid assessment & job/school search; facilitate job development and job placement and/or school enrollment; tailor the job or school setting to individual preferences, interests, situation; and provide job coaching & provision of ongoing support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and ensure services are provided in accordance with the program’s model.
- Develop and implement care plans, measurable objectives, and obtainable goals, in collaboration with the client, natural supports and community partners, evaluating clients progress and adjusting as needed.
- Meet program’s productivity requirements for direct service. Services are provided in home, community, and clinic settings.
- Maintain client records and all other required documentation in a timely and confidential manner, in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Represent the agency and its services to the community in a positive and professional manner. Maintain positive and collaborative relationships and work effectively with colleagues, referral sources, team members, community resources, community contacts, area businesses and industries, and the agency's medical, management, professional and support staff.
- Develop relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to support vocational and educational resources for individuals in the program.
- Participate in required staff meetings, including regular supervision and weekly clinical staff meetings. Accept delegation and follow through with specific expanded assignments and responsibilities within FBH system such as quality improvements teams, task groups, committees, consultations, mentoring, or training responsibilities.
- Provide creative and consistent engagement regarding employment and education opportunities for all individuals in the program and develop readiness to work on vocational or educational goals
- Provide initial and ongoing assessments, employment assistance, family support and education and other services and supports critical to an individual’s ability to live successfully in the community.
- Assist individuals to develop education and employment goals related to their career interests and develop career profiles. Provide education on the medical, social, and economic benefits of returning to work or school and more specific benefits counseling.
- Work with individuals to obtain their education and employment goals and provide training and support to help them in building sustainability, success, and satisfaction on the job.
- Provide ongoing support to and advocacy for individuals to help them maintain education and employment goals.
- Participate in any required training, consultation calls, and onsite visits or reviews when required by contract.

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL HAVE:
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field from accredited college or university.
- Must submit for Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration within 30 days of hire.
PREFERRED:
- One year of experience providing employment services (e.g., job development, job coaching, supported employment).
- Experience with crisis intervention.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITES:
- Must have reliable transportation, insurance and an active drivers’ license and be willing to use personal vehicle in the course of work.
- Ability to develop knowledge of Washington Administrative Codes and statutes pertaining to the treatment and delivery of mental health services.
- Ability to communicate and engage effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds, trauma experiences, cultures, education level, and socio-economic status.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to send and receive oral and written messages, in a clear, positive, prompt, and appropriate manner, while maintaining customer confidentiality.
- Ability to learn the PACT or New Journeys model and effectively deliver supportive employment and education services.

- This position provides client services in-office and within the community at large on a occasional to frequent basis. Community settings include but are not limited to residences, group/congregate living settings, hospitals, shelters, the streets or anywhere in the community at large.

- Occasionally frequent travel between locations is required.
- The ability to drive a vehicle, traverse distances up to several city blocks and on various terrains, navigate stairs, get in and out of vehicles frequently is required.
- Daily use of a computer is required.
- May be required to lift 10 - 20 pounds.
- Blood-borne Pathogen Category III - No predictable exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
- The following terms and conditions apply to new $2,000 Sign On Bonus:
- Internal transfers into PACT are not eligible for the sign-on bonus, except for PRN employees who accept a full-time PACT position.
- If you receive the $2,000 sign on bonus, you will not be eligible for an internal transfer out of PACT for one-year, absent extenuating circumstances and approval by the Chief Human Resources Officer.

PAY RANGE (Hourly/ Non-Exempt): $25.89-$31.53*
- All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus, the starting pay for this position is $25.89 per hour.
