Foundation Specialist LLC is a commercial and residential concrete contractor for new construction. Providing general contracting, construction management, and self development services across the surrounding region and Western Wa. Foundation Specialist has been building foundations for over 35 years in the greater Puget Sound area and beyond. Foundation specialist specializes in Foundation Footings, walls, flatwork, water detention vaults, post tension slabs or retaining walls that are managed by experienced crews and overseen by Project manager experts. If you are looking for an opportunity to grow within an established company, this is it! We are in a great need of a Residential Concrete estimator. No less than 10 years of structural experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Must have no less than 10- 20 years of concrete experience in the field
- Analyze blueprints and specification documents to determine time, cost, materials and labor estimates.
- Create bids for all commercial and residential projects, including the generation of, and complete review of all customer proposals to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Obtain quotes for materials as required by the job.
- Communicate with customers and general contractors to produce estimates.
- Prepare written proposals for prospective projects in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow-up on proposals for prospective projects in a timely manner.
- Track status of current bids as well as future opportunities.
- Coordinate and communicate with superintendents, field personnel and contractors to ensure smooth and timely execution of projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Deadline-driven, punctual and respectful of the time of others.
Position Requirements:
- Experience bidding residential and commercial projects a plus
- Supervisory experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs and computers.
