Central Plains Milling (CPM), an LLC of Frontier Cooperative, is offering an exciting career opportunity to the right individual for a Customer Service Associate at our Feed Mill located in Columbus, NE.
The ideal candidate should have a good grasp of accounting practices and strong organizational skills. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers & employees, provide accounting support such as Invoicing, Billing, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Inventory Support, Data Entry, Processing Transfers, receiving inventory, running the scale, & other General Clerical work.
In this position, you are responsible for the following duties:
- Greeting & assisting our walk-in customers, patrons, & employees.
- Assisting customers as needed including helping with their orders, purchasing products, services, etc.
- Answering phones & managing the front desk area.
- Creating & issuing invoices to customers.
- Entering feed orders.
- Running the scale.
- Manage account balances & resolve inconsistencies.
- Update accounting records with issued invoices, processed payments, new balances, & customer contact information.
To be successful, this candidate should have the following skills:
- Working knowledge of accounting standards, relevant legal regulations, & confidentiality guidelines.
- Strong communication, organizational, & time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to be reliable & dependable with strong attention-to-detail.
