Frontier Electric of WA is a privately owned electrical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial electrical services. With a reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven New Business Development Manager to expand our client base and drive revenue growth.


Job Summary:

The New Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the electrical contracting industry, Electrical Codes, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand Frontier Electric’s market presence.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business leads.
  • Present proposals, bids, and contracts for potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including project management and estimating, to ensure client needs are met.
  • Represent Frontier Electric at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Stay up to date with local and state regulations affecting the electrical contracting industry.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the electrical contracting or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
