What are the responsibilities and job description for the Range Check-In MO FT position at Frontier Justice LS?
POSITION SUMMARY
The Range Check-In Associate is responsible for all functions behind range check-in. This person ensures that customers get checked in, fill out all appropriate paperwork, inspects ammunition and/or delivers rented firearms, eye protection, ear protection and targets as needed. This position communicates to the RSO and all involved parties as to who will be where doing what on the range. Client service and sales are a focus of this position.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Achieve Results
- Always monitor all activity at Range Check-In.
- Keep all areas sanitary, clean and within the law.
- Execute excellence with customers at range check-in and in retail through the proper knowledge of technology at the point of sale.
- Maintain a professional and courteous appearance and demeanor.
- Ensure customers have a positive experience but maintain strict firearms safety standards and enforce range rules, regulations, and dress code.
- Promote sales through rental program, targets, accessories, etc.
- Responsible for compliance of rental firearms.
Operational Excellence
- Strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) always
- Always evaluate conditions on the range via the cameras, radio communication, and making adjustments as necessary.
- Always know and follow emergency response plans when necessary.
- Reports daily to the General Manager as to any operational issues that might need addressed.
Relationships
- Establish and ensure collaborative, supporting relationships within the entire organization.
- Establish and maintain positive, effective relationships with key resources, including external vendors, trainers outside of FJ who will pay for space, and customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ Key Competencies

Able to operate point of sale systems.

Customer service orientated with strong people skills.
Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
EDUCATION
High school diploma required, with college hours preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of and experience with Firearms and the necessary safety procedures.
OTHER
- Normal overtime/extended work hours. Evenings and weekends
- Must be able to physically audit and inspect all operations. Must be age 18 or older.
