GIS Technical Support Specialist

Frontier Precision is an employee-owned company with over 36 years of experience serving survey, mapping, engineering, construction, GIS, drones/UAS, forensics, law enforcement, forestry, water resources, mosquito and vector control, and natural resources professionals throughout the western United States.

Responsibilities:

• Install and deploy FieldSeeker software solutions for new customers
• Provide technical support, software orientation, web training, and implementation assistance for new and existing FieldSeeker customers
• Troubleshoot software and hardware problems and suggest solutions
• Collaborate with FieldSeeker Support, Sales, and Product Management team to prioritize tasks, communicate customer needs, and escalate defects and enhancement requests
• Gather feedback from end users about their experiences and suggestions for product improvement
• Develop and enhance support materials such as user guides, training videos, and knowledge base articles
• Keep abreast of technology trends and developments
• On-site or in-person customer visits as needed (occasional)
• Association meetings or sales demonstration assistance as needed (occasional)

Experience with the Esri ArcGIS Online ecosystem is a plus. GISP and Esri GIS certifications a plus. The successful candidate will be an excellent written and verbal communicator, a team player, a gifted troubleshooter, good at multitasking, a dedicated documentarian, positive, and flexible.
