Overview
FTI is hiring a Senior Configuration Manager in support of United States Space Force (USSF) Rapid Resilient Command and Control (R2C2) program its mission to develop and deliver modernized Space Ground Segments. A successful candidate must be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results. As part of a high performing team operating in an agile, fast-paced software development environment. This work will primarily be performed in Colorado Springs, CO, with travel to integration sites as required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and ensure complete documentation is maintained.
- Oversee management of configuration items, including documentation, change control board, and lifecycle management.
- Schedule and coordinate configuration control boards, documents and implements outcomes/changes/ECPs, keeping pace with high-speed CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate CM to maximum extent possible, using approved tools; work with Quality to ensure effectiveness and adherence of CM policies and automated processes.
- Develop and implement CM plan, compliant with SSC policy and NIST 800-53 CM controls.
- Deliver SW Source Code and Released Artifacts.
- Coordinate with PM, Risk, Quality, and Task Lead personnel (Development, Test, Fielding/Sustainment, Cloud Services).
- Experience with implementation and overseeing branching strategies on large scale enterprise code base.
Education/Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or related field required (master's degree preferred).
- 6 years' experience working as a Configuration Manger or related professional experience.
- Experience in the following application frameworks: Confluence; Jira; Git
- Ability to ensure CM in on-prem, hybrid, and Cloud environments.
- Ability to create/update configuration items and technical documentation.
- Ability to create/update workflows; automate to maximum extent possible.
- You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.
For this role, the annual compensation range for candidates in Colorado is ($94K-$155K)*.
*Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. FTI has a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
