What you can expect as a Complex Property Claims Adjuster:
- Verify facts of loss, analyze coverage, and adjust the entire claim, including collecting and reviewing all loss-related facts.
- Contact insureds to schedule property inspections and keep them informed throughout the claim process.
- Determine the method and extent of investigation, review investigative materials, and document all claims actions.
- Apply advanced negotiation skills to resolve disputed claims, attend mediations, and coordinate the appraisal process.
- Serve as a mentor to less experienced adjusters and assist with training and development.
What we are looking for as a Complex Property Claims Adjuster:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Property and Casualty Insurance. With strong knowledge of Florida insurance regulations and claims practices
- Maintain a Florida 520 License; ability to obtain Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia licenses upon hire
- Proficient in Microsoft programs
