Description
As part of the Mobile Crisis Team (MCT), provides phone and community-based crisis response to adults presenting with urgent mental health needs. Services include: answering the crisis hotline; providing resource information and linkage to community providers; completing crisis assessments in community or hospital settings; and safety/disposition planning. On-site clinical supervision presence 24/7; great opportunity for clinicians seeking to build their diagnostic and risk assessment skills in a supportive setting.
Primary responsibilities:
- Completes initial screenings/assessments for mental health and alcohol or other drug with individuals in a behavioral health crisis and have reached out for help by calling the crisis hotline.
- Complete community-based assessments with individuals in crisis and facilitate linkage to appropriate services.
- Provide follow-up services to those previously assessed to assure linkage to on-going providers.
This is a non-exempt, union position with a minimum-starting wage of $36.06 per hour. Schedule: 40-hour work week, 2nd shift, various days (including weekends)
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’ Degree with a minimum of one year professionally supervised work in the delivery of mental health, chemical dependency and/or social services.
- LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC
- Valid driver’s license with less than six points, proof of insurance along with operational vehicle, required.
