Our client located in Houston, Texas is looking for an Air Quality Project Manager with experience in Air Permits for a direct hire opportunity. Qualified candidates can live anywhere in the State of Texas. If you live in the Houston area you would be expected to work out of the corporate office.

Air Quality Project Manager Role:
Air Quality Project Manager will develop long-term client relationships, oversee project execution, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
Interpret and apply air quality regulations, including emissions assessments, permit applications (NSR, Title V, PSD), compliance reports, and audits.
Ensure accuracy in emissions calculations, regulatory determinations, and reporting procedures.
Mentor junior professionals, fostering technical growth and leadership skills.
Support strategic initiatives to grow the firm’s client base and service offerings.
Maintain rigorous data analysis standards and oversee documentation accuracy.
Air Quality Project Manager Background Profile:
Bachelors degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, or related scientific discipline required.
10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on air quality.
Expertise in air-related environmental laws, reporting requirements, and permitting processes.
PE, QEP, or CPP certifications are a plus.
Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and manage budgets.
Strong ability to engage with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
Familiarity with state regulations (particularly in TX & NM) and experience working with permitting authorities.
