Onboarding Coordinator

Our client located in Flower Mound, TX has an immediate need for an onboarding coordinator on a contract to possible hire basis.

Onboarding Coordinator Role :

While reporting to the Director of HR and working closely with the HR Business Partner the Onboarding Coordinator will manage sensitive documentation and confidential data while working closely with the recruiting team, hiring managers, and HR leadership to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Act as the primary resource for new employees, guiding them through the onboarding process and ensuring a positive experience.

Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and stakeholders to coordinate a smooth and efficient first day for new hires.

Oversee the scheduling and coordination of pre-employment tasks, such as background checks, drug screenings, and new hire paperwork.

Ensure all compliance-related documentation is completed accurately and promptly.

Address questions and provide guidance to new hires throughout the onboarding journey.

Lead New Hire Orientation sessions as part of a monthly rotation.

Assist with administrative tasks, including maintaining personnel records, answering phones, and performing data entry.

Provide general support for HR operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the department.

Onboarding Coordinator Background Profile :

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

At least 2 years of experience in human resources.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an onboarding-focused role.

Familiarity with ICIMS Software is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Maintain a professional demeanor in an office setting.

Intermediate presentation skills.
