Consumer Residential Lending Specialist

Current Frost employees must apply using the Careers application in Workday (not through this site) Job Description As a Consumer Residential Lending Specialist with Frost, you will be responsible for managing lending activities for a small geographic region or portfolio; prospecting for new business with builders, brokers, and real estate agents to develop a network of referrals and originate new loans; and working under direct supervision of a more senior staff. Responsibilities will include initiating and maintaining contact with builders, brokers, and real estate agents to develop a new network or referrals and originate loads; serving as a back-up and providing assistance to more senior staff when necessary to ensure customers are provided with excellent service; working with other departments to ensure that all loans are closed and processed efficiently and accurately; acting as a liaison between the branches and the main office, reporting changes in prices and market conditions; and following all changes in government regulations and communicating them with staff. The candidate will ensure compliance with Bank policy and Federal/State laws and regulations applicable to this area; and acknowledge and act on opportunities to refer customers to other lines of business throughout Frost. The candidate will be an active participant in Community Banking activities and Home Improvement Expos within their region.
