Key Responsibilities:
- New Software Challenge: Lead the charge as we transition to a new accounting software system! Get hands-on experience in the implementation process and learn new tools that will shape the future of our financial operations.
- Daily Bookkeeping: Manage daily financial transactions, record data, and oversee accounts payable/receivable. Ensure seamless operations with a keen eye for detail.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements and reports to support company decision-making and future growth.
- Collaboration & Insight: Work with different departments to provide valuable financial insights that will influence strategic decisions.
- Data Integrity & Problem-Solving: Analyze financial data to detect discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure everything is accurate and compliant.
- Growth-Focused: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and tax preparation while continually learning and growing your skills.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, related field, or 3 years of experience.
- Interest in technology and a willingness to learn new accounting software.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (debits, credits, double-entry bookkeeping).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with a variety of teams.
