Who You Are

As a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist III, you are our loan experience champion. You’ll be responsible for facilitating all aspects of Commercial Real Estate loan document preparation and booking, as well as complex Commercial Loan/Lease documentation. You’ll use your analytical skills, inquisitive mind, and detail-orientated approach to check for accuracy and stay up to date on laws and regulations to best serve our organization and customers. You welcome a challenge and strive to continuously improve processes with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare Commercial Real Estate and complex Commercial loan/lease documents using specific approved loan terms while complying with internal bank policies and procedures as well as regulatory and legal requirements
• Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, third party vendors, inside counsel, and other parties in the preparation of loan documentation and closing of Commercial Real Estate loan transactions
• Review title commitments, exceptions to titles, surveys, and other supporting documentation incidental to transactions
• Coordinate with title companies, customers, and other parties to perfect liens and clear issues on titles
• Prepare and review loan-closing checklists to ensure all necessary documents and fees are listed and provide checklists to title companies to assist in the preparation of settlement statements
• Recognize deficiencies in documentation and advise Lenders and Assistants in obtaining required items
• Review closed loan packages for completeness and prepare packages for booking and funding
• Coordinate funding with Funding department, title companies, and Lenders.
• Assist Lenders, ARM's, and Attorney Closing Assistants in clearing exceptions and also with post-closing and imaging of loan packages

What You’ll Need

• 3 years Commercial Real Estate experience
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
  

Additional Preferred Skills

• 3 years Commercial Real Estate loan documentation experience
