Job Description:
This position provides programming and functional support for all areas of the company, including accounting, planning, sales, procurement, distribution, regulatory and compliance, shop floor, discrete manufacturing, and general management support. This is a small company IS shop, so experience in multiple functional areas is highly recommended to help meet the IS demands. This person will report to the IS manager.
This person will be heavily involved with and required to help manage a JDE World A9.4 to Oracle E1 (or other platform) migration soon.
Responsibility and Duties:
- Review and oversee daily production job stream processing.
- Identify improvement opportunities in all functional areas.
- Design, code, and implement new project assignments.
- Design and create ad-hoc reports to address immediate user needs.
- Create technical and user documentation for all programming changes and new development.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a Manufacturing and Distribution ERP environment
- Any combination of SQL, RPG, VB, C, Java languages.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- JDE World and/or Oracle E1 development experience.
- BI tool experience, ReportsNow a plus.
- Knowledge of EDI transactions.
- Mobile data collection, RFgen a plus.
- Experience with Surveyor, DB2 reporting tool.
- IBM OS/400 operations
