Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Estimator to help grow our service division by delivering smart, fast, and professional solutions to our commercial customers . In this role, you will be responsible for assessing project requirements and preparing accurate estimates for roofing projects. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality roofing solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Serve as the face of the service department, meeting with property owners, managers, and facility teams to assess needs and sell repair solutions
- Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate existing roofing systems and identify opportunities for repairs, maintenance, or upgrades
- Create clear, competitive, and timely estimates for service work
- Develop long-term relationships with clients by earning their trust and following through
- Partner with the service crew to ensure scopes are executable and profitable
- Follow up on open proposals and convert leads into signed service contracts
- Educate customers on proactive maintenance and asset protection strategies
- Collaborate with the sales and production team to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction
- Maintain organized records of estimates, client interactions, and project status
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial roofing, estimating, or service sales
- Working knowledge of low-slope roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified, BUR)
- A consultative sales approach with a customer-first mindset
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to price and scope accurately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with BLueBeam and The EDGE is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with commercial roofing manufacturers like Carlisle, JM, Soprema or Duro-Last
- Prior experience in a service-based sales or estimating role
