Description
FS-Elliott is looking for a motivated, results-driven Account Manager to join our sales team. This role will be responsible for the management of promoting and selling of centrifugal compressor packages both internally and externally to Key Accounts.
Responsibilities
- Works with internal Sales Support teams to prepare and deliver technical presentations
- explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
- Manages & maintains an accurate Sales forecast funnel of Opportunities within CRM.
- Provides regular reports demonstrating account & opportunity development
- Confers with customers, EPCS, and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system & ongoing support requirements.
- Proposes Alternative Solutions in cases where the application may not specifically fit current available line of compressor product
- Develops Strategic Sales Plans for specific projects.
- Directs sales support resources in the quoting & bid process of projects tied to the strategic sales plan
- Negotiates order and contracts by working with internal support teams such as Finance, Legal and Contracts Administration to secure new orders. Identifies technical & commercial Risks and contingency to address such Risks by working with Sale Support Product Management teams.
- Identifies proactive alternative Solutions to customers where Product Limitations may prevent addressing the defined criteria. Plans and modifies products to meet customer needs.
- Maintains customer involvement and coordination with Aftermarket Support team to help clients address & resolve problems with Installation & Commissioning of equipment.
- Continues to manage customer relationship to enhance future Aftermarket support & sales.
- Manages the full relationship with Customer and EPCs, including serving as the key support role representing the company and the Customer / EPC with the various mechanical engineering / functional areas within the company
- Maintaining and expanding comprehensive technical knowledge of FS-Elliott's products as well as a broad understanding of the competitor's products (this includes : providing input regarding possible product improvement / development and process improvement, attending company training sessions on new / developing products and technologies and collecting and communicating product market intelligence)
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's Degree (BA / BS) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
