About the job : The Sales Strategy team supports the strategic fundraising objectives for FS Investments. The team works closely with sales members, product specialists, finance and technology to build an in-depth understanding of the capital raising activity at the firm. They provide reporting and analytics to help centralize information, support business development, and execute strategic growth objectives for the company. The Sales Strategy Analyst will assist in the day-to-day operations of distribution, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all sales data for the organization. This role represents an opportunity to be a part of an entrepreneurial and nimble team within an established and growing firm. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong team player, and has an entrepreneurial mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.The successful candidate is expected to : Assign and resolve trades to ensure reported sales data is accurate and attributed to the appropriate territories.Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce and CRM Analytics.Gather, manipulate and analyze large data sets from a wide variety of proprietary and 3rd party sources with strong attention to detail.Support the planning and execution of sales initiatives, including territory segmentation, lead generation and marketing campaigns.Work directly with Sales Strategy leadership on business-critical reporting needs and assist in the development of key performance metrics to help increase sales productivity.Provide training and support to the sales team so they can effectively use data and technology in their selling processes.Assist in data integrity projects including monitoring the CRM for data accuracy, quality and consistency.Qualifications : Bachelor's degree with an excellent academic record. Preferred areas of study include Finance, Information Systems, or Data Analytics.1-2 years of experience in finance, data analysis or sales experience preferred.Experience with Salesforce, where Sales Cloud and CRM Analytics a plus.Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills.Key Skills : Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness and desire to learn about the industry.Organized and proactive, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of constituents.Resourceful, ready to adapt to new experiences and growth opportunities.Strong project management and follow-through skills; with the ability to manage multiple requests at once.FS Investments : 30 years of leadership in private marketsFS Investments is an alternative asset manager dedicated to delivering attractive returns across private equity, private credit and real estate.
