Description
Under the general supervision of the Marketing Manager, responsible for all traditional / print collateral production, digital content design and placement, website content management, email campaign design and deployment and social media calendar development and placement. Must maintain strict confidentiality.Work independently or in conjunction with Agency of Record on the conception and completion of print and digital assets required to market properties and support other functions.Create and place content on property digital media such as TV's and property marquees signs.Create and place print collateral across two properties.Obtain requisite approvals of all work prior to placement.Create project management checklist, establish timelines and ensure all elements; print collateral, digital, e-mail and social media are placed in a timely and logical manner.Make all requested changes promptly and correctly.Stay up to date on all system / software / vendor training.Ensure property assets related to function are maintained and always supplied.Ensure proper back-ups of all work and projects are maintained at all times.Creates design concepts, four- colored separation, bleeds, text layout, and fonts.Develop stylesheets in page-layout software.Demonstrates positive guest relations.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in graphic design and one (1) year of experience; or Associates Degree or Certificate of completion from a graphic arts vocational institution with a minimum of two (2) years work related experience using graphic and digital design software applications.Experience with working knowledge of computers, software, color printers, copiers, plotters, digital cameras, bindery equipment, as well as a sense of impeding technologies and their application to the Marketing Department required.Portfolio / examples of previous print and digital design required for consideration.The selected candidate will demonstrate a creative flair, a style and ability to consistently create unique content while working within a box of established brand parameters.Experience with Social Media content management a plus.Experience with e-mail platforms such as Constant Contact, Mail Chimp or similar preferred.Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug / alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California.Must be 21 years of age.Applicant may be given a project to complete as part of the interview process.Tribal preference will be given to qualified tribal applicants.
