Position Summary:
Under director supervision of the Table Games Director, monitors blackjack tables, poker tables, dealers, and all non-department personnel coming in contact with the Blackjack, or Poker pit on assigned shifts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Observes games in progress for possible irregularities in player/dealer conduct.
- Follows Casino & Table Games Policies and Procedures when opening or closing games.
- Ensures dealer procedures are being adhered to.
- Reviews all dealers to increase skill level.
- Informs Table Games Manager of any deviation from standard dealing procedures.
- Ensures the integrity off all games.
- Renders impartial decisions using all available means, i.e. dealer/player, information and surveillance.
- Notifies the Table Games Manager immediately when a guest is dissatisfied with a decision.
- Raises or lowers table limits to suit casino needs. Resolves disputes under $500.
- Relays pertinent information regarding daily business to incoming supervisor at shift change.
- Ensures dealer quality and efficiency to increase cost effectiveness.
- Demonstrates good employee and guest relations.
- Observes all live games continually.
- Responds to customer’s requests and needs.
- Ensures safeguarding of all company assets to include staff, furniture, and inventory.
- Ensures employee awareness of Internal Controls.
- Greets customers and maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Maintains player tracking log and comp log.
- Assists in cleaning and maintenance of Table Games area.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
- Dealer School Instructor.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED plus five years dealing experience, two years supervisory experience in table games required. Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California if applicable. Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred. Preference given to qualified tribal members.
