Position Summary:
The Elite Maintenance Team (EMT) Project Manager is responsible for overseeing Engine Maintenance projects in the field. This role involves coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards to deliver high-quality service to clients.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and finalize jet engine Maintenance projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor field service technicians and engineers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Client Interaction: Act as the primary liaison with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Customer Service: ensure business is meeting project targets, including turnaround times, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Provide oversight of invoicing and work order processes, ensuring all transactions are aligned with contracts and customer agreements. Develop and manage customer service scorecards, tracking key performance indicators to continuously improve service levels.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support for engine maintenance and repair, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.
- Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with aviation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including service reports, compliance documentation, and client communications.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in aviation field service, with a focus on jet engines, and at least 2 years in a project management role.
- Certifications: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Proficient in aviation maintenance software and project management tools
- Strong understanding of jet engine systems and maintenance practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:
- Frequent travel to customer locations and field sites is required.
- The role will involve working irregular hours to meet project deadlines and client needs.
