What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Quality Assurance position at FTair?
Oversee the daily operations of Quality Assurance (QA) within a Part 145 Certified Repair Station, encompassing Quality Control (QC), Materials, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Article Records, and the Drug & Alcohol Abatement Program.
Ensure strict adherence to all procedures outlined in FTair Manuals and compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) by Quality Materials and Personnel.

Qualifications
Must be appropriately certificated under 14 CFR Part 65.
Must be thoroughly familiar with 14 CFR Parts 21, 39, 43, 65, 91, 121, 125, 129, 135, & 145 as they apply to repair stations.
Must be thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools utilized to determine the airworthiness of articles on which maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations are being performed.
Must be proficient in the use of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids utilized to inspect articles in accordance with applicable technical data.
