FTK Hospitality is looking to find a Director of Facilities for a NYC based restaurant group in an strong expansion position for the last 4 years.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy for facilities management for over 40 restaurant locations
- Handle long-range planning to support future needs and growth of the company
- Help with plans for renovations & additions
- Apply for permits, attend inspections with local government agencies
- Develop and oversee scheduling and deployment of required inspection
- Set up project management tracking for execution of approved budgeted projects
- Lead renovations, refurbishments, and other capital projects from conception through completion
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects meet specifications, budget, and timelines
- Verify all work is completed to a satisfactory level
- Oversee annual facilities site audits
Team Development:
The Facilities Director supervises the facility maintenance staff and contractors and provides training, sets performance standards, and fosters a collaborative work environment.
Budget Planning:
The Facilities Director creates and monitors the facility’s annual budget, reviews and approves estimates, purchase orders and invoices, and Is responsible for budgeting annual capital projects.
Preventative Maintenance Strategy:
- Schedule and manage routine maintenance on all building systems
- Mitigate risk and oversees safety and security
- Inspect facilities routinely to look for issues
- Managesthe service request intake and work order management, delegation of work, and tracking of completion
- Responsible for deploying preventative maintenance inspections
