What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at FTS Inc?
One of our great partners in Rochester is looking for temporary Accounts Payable contractors to join their team!
This position works fully onsite Monday-Friday during normal business hours. This position has good good work-life balance!
What You'll Do:
- Handle all accounts payable tasks, including invoice coding, approval, entry, and proper documentation.
- Reconcile accounts payable with the general ledger and generate reports.
- Maintain and update records, clean up inactive accounts, and respond to vendor inquiries.
- Maintain bank accounts and organized files.
- Post journal entries and allocations and assist with closing and reporting.
- Attend finance meetings and support events.
What You Bring
- 1-3 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- High School Diploma required; Associate's in Accounting or Finance preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
