Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager

One of our reputable legal partners in Syracuse is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts receivable team, including the external collections group.
• Provide accurate and timely monthly reports on accounts receivable statistics to management.
• Monitor and manage monthly collections, addressing any related issues.
• Lead and coordinate regular Accounts Receivable/Work in Process meetings.
• Collaborate with the external collections group, AR/WIP Committee, and management to enhance collections for specific members.
• Build strong working relationships with senior leadership.
• Partner with the Billing Manager to streamline the billing and collection process, aiming to reduce the days to collect.
• Assist in transitioning the external collections group to an in-house team.
• Process accounts receivable write-offs.
• Continuously improve and optimize collection processes, technology, and procedures.
• Serve as backup for all collection-related functions.
• Provide support for special projects and improvements in workflow and process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years of accounts receivable experience at a supervisory or managerial level.
• Experience in a professional Legal Firm environment.
• Bachelors Degree Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:
