What You’ll Do: As the Assistant Regional Controller, you will be instrumental in supporting the financial management across the region, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Your expertise will help steer the company’s financial strategy, and you’ll work directly with senior leadership to maintain robust financial controls and processes.
Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
- Assist in overseeing the financial operations across the region, ensuring all accounting activities are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for regional performance analysis.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing key insights and strategic recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Coordinate and execute internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor compliance with accounting standards (GAAP), tax regulations, and corporate policies.
- Lead and manage the preparation of month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial guidance to help drive business decisions.
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering an environment of growth and development.
What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking an experienced and driven individual who is ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about financial leadership, we want to hear from you! Ideal candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or MBA preferred, but not required.
- 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and financial controls.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities with ease.
