Position Summary:
A top-tier national homebuilder is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the construction of single-family residential homes in the Myrtle Beach market. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction for multiple new home builds, from pre-construction through final delivery.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain daily communication with trade partners to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and design specifications.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience by coordinating pre-drywall meetings, homebuyer orientations, and final walk-throughs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in construction management systems, including schedules, field reports, and quality checklists.
- Partner with sales and mortgage teams to manage buyer expectations and close homes on schedule.
- Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency without compromising quality or safety.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in residential construction management, preferably with a high-volume or production builder.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and construction software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred—but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working in a production homebuilding environment with integrated mortgage/title services.
- Ability to manage customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
- Local knowledge of Myrtle Beach permitting processes and trade partners is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
