What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist/Recruiter position at FTS Inc?
One of our great partners in Auburn, NY is looking for an HR Generalist/Recruiter!
This position will work fully onsite, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (37.5 hours/week). This individual will report into the Chief People Officer! The organization hopes to fill this position as soon as possible.
What You'll Do
- Oversee organization recruiting efforts
- Post job openings and manage postings and candidate communications
- Conduct candidates screenings and carry through the interview process
- Initiate background checks and other onboarding requirements
- Ensure adherence to company policies and employment laws
- Maintain and update HR systems and records
- Assist with leave of absence administration
- Support employee dispute resolution processes
- Provide basic knowledge and guidance on benefits
What You Bring
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience with all of the following: recruiting/onboarding, compliance, and employee benefits guidance
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System, HRIS, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Associate's Degree preferred; High School Diploma required
