Land Acquisition Manager

We are seeking an experienced Land Acquisition Manager for our client in Melbourne/Orlando, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing land opportunities to support our company’s growth objectives. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including developers, landowners, and municipal representatives, to ensure optimal land acquisition strategies and outcomes.

Compensation: Base Salary Bonus potential

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis:

• Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify prime land acquisition opportunities.
• Collaborate with the team to understand market demands and product fit, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Relationship Building:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry players to access potential land opportunities.
• Communicate effectively to reinforce our position and maintain a favorable reputation in the market.
• Land Sourcing:
• Conduct comprehensive market research and land analysis to identify and assess acquisition prospects.
• Oversee the negotiation and acquisition process, including LOI submissions and contract finalization.
• Coordinate due diligence efforts and prepare necessary documentation for internal approval.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks associated with new land acquisitions and propose strategies to mitigate them.
• Evaluate site conditions and other factors impacting project feasibility.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience in land acquisition or a related field, with a strong understanding of the homebuilding industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Proven negotiation skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Highly organized and adaptable with a strong focus on achieving results.
