Land Development Manager
We are partnered with a residential builder seeking an experienced Land Development Manager to oversee the planning, design, and execution of land development projects from acquisition through construction. This position is responsible for managing site analysis, entitlements, design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the land development process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Manage contracts with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Coordinate with internal teams (construction, sales, marketing, finance) for smooth project transitions.
- Lead land acquisition due diligence and site feasibility analysis.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and milestones.
- Manage the design and engineering process, including site layout, grading, and utility plans.
Location: This position operates primarily in the field, travel is required to the following areas
Georgetown County, SC | Horry County, SC | Florence County, SC | New Hanover County, NC
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of land use regulations, zoning codes, and permitting processes.
- Excellent project management skills with a focus on budgeting and scheduling.
- Proficiency in project management software and CAD tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field (Master's preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in land development or real estate development with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Residential experience is required.
Compensation: Base salary car allowance bonus potential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
