Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Journey: Manage the full sales process, from prospecting to onboarding.
- Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives.
- Territory Strategy: Segment and prioritize prospects to maximize membership opportunities.
- Lead Generation: Qualify and develop new leads.
- Outreach: Execute email campaigns and phone pitches, emphasizing membership value.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on relevant policy issues and industry challenges.
- Closing Sales: Close membership deals, leveraging senior leadership as needed.
- Pipeline Management: Track and manage progress toward revenue goals using Salesforce.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years in sales/account management, ideally in membership or professional services.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills. Familiarity with the Challenger Sale methodology a plus.
- Interest in Policy: Knowledge of business policy and politics is desirable.
- Adaptable: Comfortable in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
