Vice President of Finance
We are partnered with a builder seeking an experienced VP of Finance to oversee the financial operations of asset management and homebuilding divisions. This role will ensure alignment with the company’s long-term goals, lead the accounting team, and drive financial planning, analysis, and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee accounting operations for asset management and homebuilding sectors.
- Supervise the preparation of financial reports, including quarterly and annual statements, for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Create and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Evaluate financial performance, key metrics, and variances to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights for key initiatives such as acquisitions, market expansion, and new revenue opportunities.
- Manage annual audits, banking relationships, and financial modeling to support business development.
- Mentor and guide finance team members, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- Experience with Brix and BuildPro
- Experience with casting financial models
- Single Family new construction experience is required
- CPA is Required
- Proven experience in finance leadership, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling (Hyphen BRIX/BuildPro experience a plus).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: Base salary bonus potential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $190,000.00 - $209,000.00 per year
