Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Set up and operate press brake machines to produce precision metal parts.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate bending sequences.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining processes.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques.
- Experience operating milling machines, forklifts, cranes, or electrical discharge machining is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience operating an Amada HRB series Press Brake is a HUGE plus!
